Congratulations to the winners. I too have received the parts (Asrock Z170 Extreme7 Plus motherboard, i7 6700k and Team Dark DDR4 3000Mhz CL15 ) I had ordered for my upcoming build. Will try to create a mockup of my build. Need to learn some photoshop skills

Im sad about it but I have a habit of taking on board more than I can squeeze in,no one wins and I feel bad when I miss deadlines.
I wouldnt want to let Tom or Fractal down by coming in late.
If any young'un wants any tips or advice,feel free to say in here or link me to your logs,I will help best I can. I can come to visit if you are in the london area,you must provide Tea and biscuits however.

Haha this is funny, that the rest of the world sees us as "everybody wins" because we have become that due to everybody getting they're feelings hurt for not winning. Ugh sometime I wished I lived elsewhere in the world.

This isn't an entry. I just thought I'd show what I have in mind for my personal system. Maybe it'll inspire more people to enter, even if there's only a few days left to enter. I don't feel it's appropriate for me to enter when I already have essentially the same equipment. Bare in mind, I can't photoshop, I can't create my own renders. This is about the extent of my talent. I'll have to fill in the blanks with text, and you'll have to use your imagination. If this is not the appropriate place to post this, please go ahead and delete the message. I just thought it would be nice to join in, and maybe inspire others. After all, my idea is not my idea at all; it was inspired by others.
Basically I'm going to build a very typical partition/shroud out of bent steal or aluminium, depending on which is easier to consistently work with, and spray paint it a matte black. It's going to cover the entire right side, which includes the unused optical bay (I see no reason to remove it, especially since it's riveted in) and the hard drive bay. It'll also cover the power supply, with a hole cut into the side to show the power supply logo. The red in the AX760 logo specifically inspired the use of the red ASUS Strix, red in the MSI motherboard, and red in the PEXON cables.
The shroud covering the PSU will enclose the PSU and protrude past the PSU at a 45° angle (roughly). This will cover the PSU cables, but not cover the fan that is mounted at the bottom of the case blowing cool air directly to the graphics card.
I may also make a slight protrusion just underneath the PCI-e cables with a slot taken out to allow the 2x8-pin cables to pass through and rest neatly. Here is what I mean:
I might also spray paint the vertical expansion slot red.
I might also make a vinyl sticker to go over the fan hubs, maybe.
I might also replace the AIO with the Corsair H100i GTX as it looks better. If I could remove the inserts on the radiator and pump/reservoir and paint them either red or white, I might do that as well. The silver will go with the ASUS Strix, but I'd rather keep the colours to black, white and red.
The shroud will be engineered to be fully removable with minimal screws or fasteners. There are many points in the case that will allow for the shroud to be engineered to slide in to these points and remain stable. My father is an engineer and we'll brain storm some ideas one day, purchase some aluminium and get bending and cutting. He should have all the tools in his workshop.
Although it would take a great deal of work and is beyond our skills and equipment, I would love to cut out, say, 1mm of material from the right-hand side of the shroud in the design of my choice, which would probably be the title of my system, Disquiet. I would then spray paint that logo red and or white. I have a design in mind, but I can't replicate myself. Again, I have zero clew how to design using software. Here is a very pathetic attempt at showcasing my thoughts.
I'm thinking of an angled, flowing text, like the text used in one of my favourite films:
Anyone have any thoughts?
