Just came across this kit so that you can now add USB 3.0 to your R3.

Yup, it's a cool little upgrade. Why waste such a great case for a new one that has USB 3.0 as standard.

But then again, you have to wonder with this small upgrade kit, if Fractal Design is keeping the R3/XL or will they be releasing a newer version of their R3/XL series? Make sense? Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Yup, the Define Mini has native USB 3.0 on the front panel. It only has 1 though....

Hoping Fractal comes out with newer versions of their R3 line. Can't wait to see them.

I think its a great idea in comparison to when CoolerMaster added usb3 to the HAF 932 they just added a fugly 5.25 adapter, and the bezel didn't even match.

Just curious: Has any of you found a shop that got this upgrade listed? In germany i can find exactly none

I'm not in a hurry as i don't have a USB3 board yet, but i fear i'll never get one of these :/

Excellent, have you got any usb3.0 devices to go with it? Do you see Tom's vid of the Mushkin usb3 stick? Speeds are bonkers.

Can't test it unfortunately as i don't have any USB3 controllers until the Ivy Bridge upgrade. And well, i don't have any USB3 devices either

Just got it now as there was the chance.
