Forums gone dead?

Is it just me or do the forums seem alot quieter since the hacking incident? Used to be thriving now it is pretty dead.
Whoever caused all of those problems has scared a few members by the looks of it.
Hope the community gets back to normal soon.

I think a little maybe.

Lot less fun community kinds of things, and more 'new build advice'.

Typically the new build advice from the people who sign up to get the info and then leave and never return.

Hopefully it will pick up soon

It doesn't help that all the features that made the forum great have gone. Notifications, rep, the layout and general UI have just gone.

I hope that the new team of admins bring some of the old features back
They made stuff sooo much easier.

Also before the hacking incedent there was quite a few new products being released; kepler, sb-e, ivy, so there was a lot to talk about as well.

Yeah, I daresay things will get a little more active when stuff like the 7990 and the 660Ti gets released. Lots of questions to be asked, etc.

if you gotta sell a graphics card, now would be the time before the new arrivals of NVidia and
AMD hit the showrooms. prolly see another 30-60% drop on NOS (new old stock) GPU.
just saying, the newer technology is coming quickly and retailers are stuck on older inventories
they will more than likely have to liquidate or sit on speicalty cars till someone needs a specific sku...

I will pick back up guys as mentioned the holidays are here so alot of people go away, and as for the hacking incident yes this may of dropped a few off however the introduction of some new mods to the scene who are are from the company who are now sorting the forum may see some nice new features spring up, just gotta keep your eyes pealed

I do feel the forums are quieter than before, but as mentioned it is probably because a lot of people are on holiday. I'm still working, which is why I have time to visit the forums . Once I finish work, you might be seeing a lot less of me

ive been seeing a lot of the "questionable" characters on other boards. an one was really a piece
of work... waste of time for unimaginable projects from minors and trolls...

I'm in lurking mode h34r: plus BF3 is holding me hostage and wont let me stop playing it.

Not much going on in the PC world at the moment though, it's all the same old, same old. We need new stuffs to be released

Yea what's next out? IB i3s in Q3 and then sea islands at xmas? IB-e isn't out til H2 2013 now I believe.

The 660 and 660 Ti are out the 16th of August, the 7990 is rumoured to be released around then to. Should be more price drops for older cards from both sides when the 660 and 660 Ti are released, especially on any 570s that are still floating around.

Apart from that there isn't much coming out apart from AMD CUPs, oh and Windows 8 in October/November.
