I KNOW you guys can OC the hell out of whatever you set your minds to...
The Raptor Pit is putting on a team competition pitting forums against forums.
There are 4 man teams Beginning with the "A Team" (your top guys)
Then the "B Team", "C Team... and so on.
The 5 main teams A_B_C_D_E's Final Rankings are totaled and the lowest score wins the "Overall" Teams F_G_H and so on are overflow teams.
ALL the "A Teams" play against all the other forums "A Teams"
ALL the "B Teams play against all the other forums "B Teams"
And so on.....
The top team in the B thru E,F,G, ect will fight for the "B Team Crown"
Air,H2O,Pelitier & chillers are allowed in the "A thru E,F,G, ect" Teams
Chiller minumum temps must be above 0c/32f ( A thru E,F,G ect)
Quad cores are ONLY allowed to play in "A & B" Teams
A special Class for extreme cooling, samples and unreleased hardware available to the public after June 27th called
"Ultra Extreme Class" there are no teams here, it's just you and your rig.
You can also use the same rig for a main class then modify it for the ultra extreme class... This counts as 1 rig entered.
You are allowed 2 rigs, both cannot be on the same "A Team"
Rules are that the second rig MUST have a different CPU and a lesser VGA set up (not the same)Example: SLI to non SLI is ok, if you use only 1 card.
if your using an 8800gtx you need something equal to or less than a 8800gt or an ATI card.
We have a month before we start. if you want to play I suggest you start sign ups now and find an admin or mod to help a little, also need a few volenteers to be cops to verify scores and submit them to the Database.
I dont want to get into any trouble with the law, so I wont post a direct link.
This is an Invitation... all the testing is done here, the results are posted on my site only... just google "forum wars 2007" or "The Raptor Pit" and you will find us quick.
we have as many as 26 very good forums joining in with 17 confirmed.
over 50 of the top forums were invited plus a few who asked to join.
