Google have been contacted, should be back to normal soon. Its a false positive.
There was some code inserted that pointed towards a site where there WAS malware, its be shut down and removed for ages though so there was no threat to any of the users and thats why we didnt post asking you to run virus scans.
Its all been sorted our end though![]()
[sub]The only problem i have nown is no profile pictures and when i type the line thingy is above where the text goes in[/sub]
Isn't there a way to bypass the warning page in chrome? It pops up every time i go to another thread or back to the main forums page?
Can you suspend offsite linkage, ads etc, and see what happens ?
We are clean our end and locked down, we have disabled a few things which is why some images are not showing up.
Maybe unrelated but my fb wouldn't log in and I had to change my password. This has happened before though but it was a very secure password.
Were you infected or was it a false positive?
Well not really. As I said in my post it could just be because Chrome was throwing a funny whilst I was on OC3D because of the false positive. It's unlikely anyone was infected with malware.lol, confirmation bias i think...
Everyones PCs will be fine as all the mods have said in previous posts. Think people are using a small website glitch to try and explain all their computer errors here...
That is true. But a lot of the issue reported are in no way even linked to the browser or internet content.I'm not trying to start an argument mate, don't worry.
Just think that as you can surely see from all the posts in the recent topics that there are many more people complaining about various different problems they're having. Just find it a little ridiculous really. This isnt aimed at anyone specifically.
