Browser says malware detected

What thread were you in when it said it? I remember my Chrome in the past said that in a couple threads where spammers had posted

I'm using Kaspersky as well and got the same message when I tried getting on to the forums earlier. Everything is fine now

That's odd, hopefully everything is ok now. The site was having a bad day earlier, but now it seems to be fine

Well, I'm using Avast antivirus and Firefox and i got a full page warning from Google that the site had a virus warning and linked me to this

It says nothing is wrong with it? but still... Wtf?

Edit: but when you click the host link it gives you this

I just got a full page warning too on Google Chrome, but my Avast is doing nothing and Avast has blocked malware and other viruses a couple times for me on other sites. Something weird is going on with the site today

i just got a "1st time" red flag with firefox too. ignored as it is old news and fixed

Just wondering, has anyone's AV actually said there's a threat on this site? Getting tired of chrome shouting MALWARE DETECTED! at me when i click on a new thread

Yh also got the warning from chrome when i went through google, I think it is because google has listed the forum as dangerous due to malware?

Kaspersky isn't moaning anymore though so I think its all good.

they will not pick it up if it was server-side, as AV-software only flags intrusions on the client it is installed on.... not where it has come from.

it would be genius if it could do that (doh!)

There was some code inserted that pointed towards a site where there WAS malware, its be shut down and removed for ages though so there was no threat to any of the users and thats why we didnt post asking you to run virus scans.

Its all been sorted our end though
