Formatting a Windows 7 HDD

Hi I have a "Seagate Barracuda Green 1TB HDD" with windows 7 on it and i want to delete windows 7 and use this drive for storage only. I recently got an SSD "Corsair Force Series 3 120gb" so this will be my boot drive & the Seagate will be storage.

Could tell me how to do it?

I would format it whilst you are setting up your install on the SSD,due to the fact that windows always creates a 100mb partition on the primary drive which does not always show up from inside windows(99% of the time it does,but....)that way you know the drive has been done fully,no odd little partitions lying around to mess with your bootloader.
