Clone A Windows 11 Drive

Hi,

I have not done any kind of software work on a PC for a long time. What I mean by that is cloning drives, the last time I did this was back with Windows Vista.

I am about to get an MVME M.2 storage and I would like this to be my main boot-up device. I currently have a Samsung SSD doing the job. You know what is coming next!

What is the easiest way to clone my existing drive onto the MVME to use it as my main Windows drive, and I would prefer, if possible, free software to do the job... Many moons ago I used to use Hirens Boot CD but I think this may not work anymore with Windows 11.

Thanks very much for your help with this issue.

Some NVMe drives ship with cloning software that you can use.

If you buy a Samsung drive, you can download their clone software for free and it'll allow you to clone any drive to a Samsung SSD. I believe western digital also has something similar to this.
