Forget spybot and adaware...

so i had this crappy spyware thing that found its way onto my comp, one of those ones that ironically claims to be a spyware removal tool...

nothing i could do would get rid of it, until i found this tool...

Combofix

its basically a last resort spyware removal tool that also cleans up your computer big time. it not only deleted any trace of the spyware, but it deleted anything it didnt recognise from my startup, basically ousted anything made by adobe from my comp lol, and made everything really slick!

it comes with serious warnings that it tends to mess up 1/100 computers, and it should only be used as a last resort, but i think that most people here could use it to get rid of any spyware safely.

for me, spybot can get stuffed, its all about combofix

You can with an emulator (Wine), I'm not a fan of using it though...

The performance is also better under Windows hence why I dual boot my Laptop with Xp and triple boot my desktop.

hehe no, but u can play em on a ps3 (actually u can, just not as many or new)

I`ll check this tool out, I like these sorta things, I`d just be a bit weary of how vicious it is.

Always best to have a selection of anti spy/adware. dont think theres ever been one package to rid all things.
