Hey guys,
I have been thinking of getting the S36 cpu cooler from Fractal Design into my Fractal Design Arc Mini R2.
Now my problem is that I have 2 HDDs and 2 SSDs, although the SSDs aren't an issue as they are mounted on the back of the motherboard tray.
The 2 HDDs however is though, as I want to leave out as much as possible, ie removing the HDD cage and therefore this thread... I was wondering if it could be possible to put some kind of foam on the bottom of the case and cut out, kinda like pockets in the foam for the HDDs to lay down in?... This also to help reduce any vibration and/or noise made by the HDDs.
I've looked at this video and at 7:41, the foam on the side panel looks quite softy and was wondering if you guys think that this could be a good idea?...
https://youtu.be/y62-ce8TBko?t=7m41s
Or could foam potentially even be bad for the HDDs, and do you then have another solution?...
Thanks,
Chrazey
