Flipping ebay idiots

so i bought http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....96309&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_2676wt_1139 off ebay expecting a nice lovely brand new PS3 slim, well that all went to hell...

came today ( a week late ) turns out it wasnt brand new it was customer return as it had some minor cosmetic damage then i open the box to find ..... a fat ugly ps3 and it was in 80GB, it had no Sony ps3 controller just a generic cheapo one, console looked as if had been opened for YLOD and on top of all that they didnt even have the intelligence to wipe of the old guys data from december 2009

i mean if your going to scam someone at least use your brain... thinking about whether to launch a counter scam and keep the PS3 or be honest , really quite angry though

Unlucky lad, I try not to use ebay as much as possible, you should be able to get your money back easily though through ebay.

Unlucky Ruthless, I got ripped off on Ebay this week as well but the item was only £4 just a couple of PS2 to USB dongles, they haven't been delivered and the seller has not replied to any of my 4 emails.

First time it has ever happened to me on Ebay though and I have bought a lot of stuff off there over the years.

brake down the system sell the parts you will make more money that way. ive bought broken consoles off friends and sold the parts. everyone needs a new blueray player and them denq drivers whatever they are called. the power adapters sell good aswell.

As KaraMurat said I would try avoid buying electronics from ebay. unless they are basic electronics.

I bought an x box off this guy and never received it.He has now done a runner after selling non existent consols.I was keeping an eye on his feedback an all of a sudden he changed it to private.He now has around 8 negative feedbacks from the last week.

This was the second x box i bought after reviewing peoples feedback.The last guy had opened the x box up with a screwdriver and made a right mess.

Rofl...i just registered to tell my word. I am seller on ebay, my id is pantiona and i never scam people.

I got more then 600 positive feedbacks ans suddenly paypal decide to close my account for unknown reason...

For all BUYERS if paypal decide to close acc. money is hold for 180 days and i can't do any refunds!!!!!All refunds you got was from ebay support and after, they send to my paypal acc invoices which i can't even pay...

So pease dont tell that i am scammer FFS...if you dont even know how paypal works!!!

why u received used ps3? my suppliers mistake due he selling may items per day also have more then 25 resellers!!!!I always do replacement or full refund but as my paypal acc was closed....

Then try to make Lithuanian or other poor country paypal acc and look how support works...UK acc can withdraw unlimited amount money, me only 500EU per day...

My brother live in UK and still works through me for 3 years already with UK ebay and paypal acc.

Say thx to paypal support who cant even tell why they closing account. I called them.

I know this topic is old but I'd like to point out that this Pantiona is a genuine seller. He's not the best obviously but I bought a PS3 from him via Ebay, at first he sent me a used one that was horrible. I contacted him and he then sent a brand new one with two free games. Apparently his supplier made mistakes.

Anywho this is a random bump but I was searching for his account and it seems to have gone from Ebay I had to wait for my PS3 but it was well worth it at the price I paid(£170).

I still use ebay for both selling and buying. Have been scammed once but go the money back through paypal.

As a seller you can make things safe by only accepting Paypal, never do collection in person and always get tracking and insurance when you post.

As a buyer, the one time I needed to raise a dispute it was done with out hassle and the money returned with very little effort on my part.

I cannot believe you're promoting this **** of a seller. I was stupid and naive enough to buy a PS3 from them. My worst online shopping expirence yet!! Paid the £160 and recieved a scratched, 2nd hand PS3 still with user profiles as if it had been nicked from some poor lad's bedroom. Wasn't happy so was told by the seller to ship it over to Lithuania and would be refunded P&P and orginal £160. What a joke that was, and in hindsight I should have never shipped it as it was my only wager against the c***. I had to fight with Paypal to prove I had sent it to get my money back. NEVER AGAIN! lesson well and truly learnt. Will never make the same mistake

If this seller ever appears back on eBay, DO NOT TRANSACT WITH THEM!!! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED! you have been warned! do not be lured into the false positive feedback by people [rant over]
