Well as phil knows ive been having an annoying condensation problem around the neck on my GT where it joins the head...

(marked by the Red Arrows :p )

Well 4 days ago i decided to try another way of fixing this prob by using a hose clamp because i thought there was a gap in the heat shrink that was causing the condensation to build... at 1st the clamp didnt fix it at all.. in fact it made it worse because i think the small gaps in it caused condensation even more... So i thought why not stick some seal string inside the clamp b4 i put it on and hopefully that will sotp any air gaps..

I was right !!! 4 days later and not 1 drop of water to be seen anywhere :D

OT: is the hose on the GT more flexible than the Mach II, i don't recall being able to bend the hose like that.

Yeah it is more flexable... although this is the most it could bend..

Unforunatly this is the only way it will mount on the motherboard :(

well done m8, very good photos and explanation.:) Phil, this is the sort of thing that could go in a 'nVentiv guides' section

I now have a similar problem and tried this but still get a little condensation on the head's plastic top! Did you get this aswell and does anyone's fell REALLY cold whent he Mach II is in use! I suspect the Heating element isn't working!

Roll on the GT Phil is selling me!

Well most of the head on mine feels cold but there is 1 place right near where the neck conects to the head that gets hot but thats all...

Are you getting water near the screw heads..?

Yeah, in between them mostly! And it gets really cold! It's really annoying! This unit is buggered! Temp probe is knackered aswell! Gets as high as 80c and gets stuck at around the 60 mark mostly flicking between 60 and 59C when you power-up and stops with a "to slow" message!
