Was wondering what you guys think of this setup as i will be ording the parts in a week or so. Thanks.

Corsair 800D case
i7-4770k Haswell CPU
Corsair H100i water cooler
Asus Sabertooth z87 - not sure about this board as the pci3 slots run at x16 x8 in SLI
EVGA GTX 780 superclocked in SLI
Corsair 860i PSU
Corsair Vengeance 16GB 2x8GB 2400 Mhz Ram
Corsair Force Series GT 240 GB SSD
WD Cavier Black 1TB HDD

What exactly do you plan on doing with the rig?

+1 on the case. A mid tower would suit your build better and the 800D is quite a terrible case. Go for something like a 650D or an Arc Midi R2 :)

But that 800D is so sexy, was thinking of 650D but i like the 800D alot more. What is the particular reason for not using the 800D with a H100i?

Going to use it for Gaming, thought I would give Nvida surround a try, I already have 2 Asus VS247HP was going to pick up the 3rd along with a stand when I order my parts.

Cause a full tower will look silly without a proper watercooling loop. Besides, for watercooling the 800D is okay but you can do much, much better for the price.

For aircooling (even with an H100i) the 800D is pure shit. It only has one 120mm intake which comes from the bottom. And once again, you can do much better for the price.

Thanks for the info, I guess I will need to re-evaluate my choice in cases. I'm pretty picky when it comes to looks, I just like a nice simple clean look. maybe go with 650D or a 600T

Cant say that I like the looks of that case to much, Is there any other cases out there similar to the 800D, with a nice Rectangular shape, with a big window. I have been looking but im not familar with every brand out there.

I like the design, but bet it comes with a stupidly silly price tag

$140 or £90 to £100 for the air 540

2 thing we need to know

1: are you just going to stay with the all-in-one watercooler or start full on watercool?

2: how much do you have to spend on a case?

1. since this is my first full build i was just going to go with the H100i, but i would love to do a nice loop someday when i have a little more knowledge.

2. Price doesnt matter.

What about a Fractal Design R4? It's square as can be and comes with a beautiful brushed alu door and a big window.

lucky for some lol

right for me if money was no problem, as well as space and as well as availability ( I.E you want it now) i would go for the Corsair 900D. because if you want to watercool, that's one of the best cases out there if the THE best for watercooling

but there are better cases coming in a 8 to 12 weeks time

Looks a little too square for my taste. and to anwser you from before I plan and using it for Gaming, Going to try out some Nvidia Surround, i already have 2 Asus VS247H-P, just need to pick up the 3rd along with a nice stand.

For gaming you might be better off with just going for the 4670k as you will not need the extra threads. For a case lhave loook at the Corsair 600T

Most vague post i ever read... I don't see how the R4 is too square? Squares are everywhere.. The 800d,650d, even the Switch 810 are all squares. To be picky on that is like not liking websites... which are again squares(sometimes rectangles) based.
