XFX PRO750W ATX12V/EPS12V

Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced

ASUS P6X58D-E - Intel X58 - Socket 1366

Intel i7-930 1366

Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB 7200 RPM Sata III 6GB/s

Nvidia 9600GT 1GB Palit

Thanks.

Do you plan on gaming on this? That 9600 is the definite Achilles heel of that machine. Save a little longer and try to get a 6850, 6870, or a GTX460. Even a GTS450 would be a better choice.

I would go with an i7 950, since its better performing for about the same price. Also you may want to look into getting a different PSU (look at the ones from Corsair). Case, memory and motherboard seem fine. Also have at a look at the Asus Sabertooth, but the P6X58D-E will work. Are you going to use this for gaming? Because if you are don't get a 9600GT get something like GTX460 or a HD6870.

Iv looked at a sabertooth and i cant afford anymore and there doesnt seam to be many advantages for the price, also for the 950 isnt that just an 930 with a higher multiplyer?

Iv looked at the corsair psu's and have seen some reports of them failing and things like that and iv had this xfx recommened multipl times.

On the graphics card side of things i alredy own the 9600gt and i just threw it in the end of the list to make sure it would work ok. I am going to upgrade to sli 470/460's eventually tho.

Yea it is a 930 with a higher multiplyer but there are the same price (almost). Also the 950 will be cooler since it met those higher binning requiremtens and therefore will overclock better.

PSU's will always fail. but Corsair's are some of the best so if u can get a HX750, but otherwise the one you have chosen will do fine

If you have the $$ get a Seasonic there the best money can buy after all some of Corsair's psu's are made by Seasonic and are both top manufacturers.

I'd also go for a i7 950, and that xfx power supply is fine, Corsair is my preference so i'd get one of those. what will the pc be used for? i.e. Gaming? Will you be buying a new graphics card?
