Hi guys,

I have a budget of about $1250. I want I PC that I can game on, and overclock.

So far I have decided on these parts. If you have any suggestions please feel free to leave them below.

CPU: i5 2500k

CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Plus

Motherboard: Asus P8P67 EVO

GPU: MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II/OC

RAM: [ Ripjaws-X ] F3-12800CL8D-4GBXM

Storage: 1* Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb (Sata 3)

PSU: Coolermaster, Silent Pro M700

Case: Cooler Master 690 II LITE Midi-Tower - Window Edition

Case Fans: 1* Xigmatek XLF-F1454 Blueline LED Fan 140mm (For roof) 1* Prolimatech BLUE VORTEX 140MM (for window)

CD Drive: I have one lying around at home...

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I am aware of the faulty intel chipset on the P67 motherboards and therefore I will buy all of the other components first and then wait for the new motherboards come in March/April.

The reason why I have selected such a large PSU is because I might put another GTX 560 in SLI, when the time comes.

I am open to any suggestions... Thanks

Sounds good...And yes i would advise you get the mobo when the new ones come out... im one of the unlucky percentage that bought SB just before intel announced this.... i literally bought it a week ago and recieved a week tomo only to find out 3 days later that the chipsets are faulty :/

EDIT: You should consider looking at some Mushkin Ram

Never skimp on ur cooling buddy

Get the noctua bh d14 also replace that psu with a corsair or a be quiet psu, they are the best on the market if ur wanting to go sli later on choose a corsair 850ax, ( i run 2 580s on it

Also consider investing in a ssd, they literally make everything load a he'll of alot faster like ur system start up And etc

Also go with the nudging redline ridgeback 1600mhz version 4gb also

Replace all ur fans with noctuas, they push so much air through aswell as being dead silent

Also look at the nzxt phantom case (but it's choice for wha type of case you like).

I don't want to spend as much as the D14 but I might upgrade and go for the Scythe Mugen 2...

In terms of the power supply, I am considering upgrading to the be quiet! Straight Power BQT E7 CM-680W... What do you think about this? Is it good enough for 560 SLI? Is the 80+ Bronze certification good enough or do I need silver?

As for RAM... I don't really want to spend any more, how much are the mushkin ridgeback RAM sets? Also the problem is... I have no idea how to get hold of them in Switzerland which is where I live. Does anyone know a good online European vendor for Mushkin?

The Phantom case is pretty damn sexy but, I don't know whether I can put in the extra buck. Is it a full tower?
