Fan volts

I'm a little confused. I want my nhd14 to get 12v to each fan so can i connect both to 1 CPU fan slot? How do I go about that, I mean does having 2 fans on 1 header decrease voltage?

Also my system fans also I want running at 12v do I plug them onto sysfan headers or moles connecters?

Very confused !

Any ideas

plug the fans directly to the psu mate and they will get 12v they wont using a fan headers

including the noctua cpu fan? i mean arnt the headers mean to be 12v capable?

very confusing stuff how do the header on the mobo differ from molex

oh yh and what happens when you have 2 fans on 1 header, for example both noctua fans on the cpu fan header?

they dont give 12v mate at all they might say but they dont

cant tell u about running both off the one header but i wouldnt advise it cause the will prob only get half the juice since there is only so much they can supply

i have the 140mm fan on the cpu header n the 120mm fan on fan 3 on a r3e the fan speeds are 1160/1184 n 1314/1316 respectfully spec is 1200/1300

spoke to a mate of mines aswell and he's rans them off the headers and off the psu and there was like 1-2 degree difference so not really anything u should take note of, plus ran them with only the 140mm in the middle and only went down another 1-2 degree's again and then with none installed and dropped about 4-5

so from all fans to no fans it seemed there was only about a 9-10 degree difference and if ur not overclockin mad it would be excellent for total silence and use the fans in the case

yeah definately and i would think that if u had a case with very very good airlfow that the temp different wouldnt be as big either
