Hi,
I'm hoping this is a minor inconvenience for me...
I basically have 3 Thermaltake Thunderblades - 120mm x2 for Intake and Exhause, and just an extra 80mm on the side window. The problem is that they come with 2 plugs, a molex connector, which has the black and red lead, then a single yellow lead. When I wire them up, it makes them run at full speed, which is about 2000RPM +/- 10%, which is too loud for me. I subsequently bought a Scythe Kaze Master Fan Controller in order to control the fan speeds, but am I right in thinking that the yellow wire that plugs into the mobo/fan controller are only fan speed detectors, and therefore you can't change the speed ? Kinda bummed out as it would mean I'd need a new set of fans ! I can't work with 3 lots of 2000RPM fans going off in my face !!
Thanks in advance,
Jon
