!!!!!!!!excited!!!!!

Almost any motherboard that takes an Intel Pentium, also takes i7 CPUs. You're never going to need that much RAM before needing an entire system upgrade and why on earth would you want a motherboard that's SLI/CrossfireX capable if your PSU is not, and you're always better off with single card solutions, especially on a budget.

The only thing you'll want to make sure is on there is Sata III in case you want to add an SSD some time. Just get a cheaper 1155 motherboard, with the Ivy Bridge i3 that's on that site (cheaper than Haswell and barely any difference), a decent quality power supply, some cheap case, a big enough HDD, 4GB RAM minimum at 13333/1600MHz and spend the rest on a nice graphics card.

Thanks guy, will put something together and share with you for last thoughts before representing it to my dad

What would be the difference if i go with a matx gaming pc?

Basically the case and the motherboard, that's it :)
Also, next time, please use the

button instead of double posting :)

It'll cost more. unless you get a cheap mobo.
Yes, a MSI - ECS H61H2-M2 but what would the down fall is for gaming, because it support 16gb, 22nm?

Actually, where I live mATX motherboard and cases tend to be cheaper than their ATX equivalent (less materials I'm assuming).

And this side of the world. That's why I want to know is there any catch?

The only reason that board supports 16GB of memory instead of 32GB is simply because it only has 2 memory slots instead of 4. Right now, you can't buy memory sticks bigger than 8GB each. Doesn't matter though, 4GB will be fine for most games and 8GB will certainly do the trick. You won't need 16.

The chips in Ivy Bridge CPUs are 22nm, so it's saying this supports 3rd Gen Intel Core series processors (though in some scenarios you might need a bios update).

I want to know is there any loss in gaming performance or is it okay to go with a matx build

No mate, the board is literally just smaller and (in most cases) cheaper. The only 'catch' is that you can add fewer expansion cards and they often have less Sata ports.

It still has a PCI-E 16x slot for a GPU, which is all you need and as long as you pick a board with enough Sata ports, you should be good. Personally, I'd get the MSI or Gigabyte ones though, as I have no experience with ECS :)

I may sound like a noob but this gpu's got me stressing. What's the difference in performance and what would play bf4 at ultra and perform the best?
SAPPHIRE RADEON R7 240 1GB DDR5
SAPPHIRE RADEON R7 240 2GB DDR3
Price deference of R30

Neither.

These are extremely low-end GPUs. I'd recommend a GTX 750 Ti or R9 260 minimum to play BF4 at medium settings with playable framerates.

:(DADDY is never going to spend +R3000 on one component... but its worth the try
Final list. if there's no change l will suggest it tomorrow.

Gtx 750ti is faster then my gtx 570, yet my gtx 570 can do 60fps on high settings on 1080p. I also used to run bf4 on ultra with AA turned down only because I was running out of 1.28gb vram.

I'm sure 750ti would play at high frame rates on high settings. Op, what is the resolution that you are going to game at?

I would say r7 260x on medium setting if running low resolution . Even my apu igpu could play bf4 at low-medium

New bf4 maps require quite a bit more grunt on the GPU side of things btw...

My SLi 580's actually complained for the first time :( Definitely time to put the new boys in.

You might be able to run on ultra some of the time, but a 64 player server will stress it quite a bit.

That looks a lot better, nice GPU too!

Please do keep in mind though, that the WD Caviar Green series hard drives only spin at 5400 RPM which will slow down overall system performance. It would be better to pick up a caviar Blue (or another brand like Hitachi).

Lastly, Thermaltake is not exactly known for being a quality brand around these forums. Personally I'd spend a bit more on a somewhat higher quality unit. Your system doesn't draw a lot of power anyway, so you can easily get away with a 500 Watt unit. Quality > Wattage.

What about a Corsair one like this one (which is cheaper than the Thermaltake even):

It's from their lower end series but at least it's a respectable brand and they do offer an awesome warranty service.

Thanks guys "wise me luck". Hope he see why I need the gpu

I used a gaming build from the site which were a R100 more to make comparisons and to get what I want and he said: "Yes, I will see". Hopefully I will have my rig in the gallery in the next few months.
