My daddy made it clear NO BOTTLENECK. He want smooth and clear gaming. His a FPS fan and loves reality looking games. I'l make the suggestion of my build and tel him why I choose the component maybe he understand. (budget currently at R7 264)

No, the 750k is actually faster than most the APUs while being cheaper as it is basically one of the highest end APUs, but without the graphics part so that keeps the cost down.

To be fair though, no graphics card should get 'bottlenecked' by a CPU like this unless you want a high end one.

The 750k won't bottleneck it. I have one and it put out better fps than my old i3 did with the same 7870.

If he wants super smooth and clear gaming he need to spend more. Simple.

750k will not bottleneck. it is one of the higher end apu's.

The problem with my setup is that i have a decent GPU (can run bf4 on high-urtla) but my very low end cpu (a6-6400k) bottlenecks it. Im also planing to upgrade either to 750k or 760k

The shop is near by so ill save on delivery and transport. other shops are located in other cities and delivery cost +-R500.
So there is no saving...

Try a webshop instead of actual shops you can visit.

Websites charge delivery and most shop is out of my city so I can not collect my components. That shop mentioned above is my best shot and I can collect it myself...

I have no idea on prices in South Africa or the values. How much can be spend on a cpu etc? in your currency? (Was just looking at that site) The psu doesn't sound too good (never heard of it etc...)

All you have to do is make suggestions on how I can lower the cost of my build and maintain performance i.e. e.g. a i3 cost $150 then you can make any suggest of a cpu that's $150 or less but has to perform as well as the i3 or better

The PSU is one component you really can't afford to get wrong it's worth putting in those extra few Pound/Bucks/Rand to get a solid trustworthy product.

Thanks I went with the Thermaltake Litepower 650W. Any reason why I should change it because my no name psu is currently forcing my pc to restart and it's making strange noise.

Ah that's cool, i was just wondering as i was checking out that website As other people have mentioned, the 750/60k are pretty good for the price and can oc nicely aswell (usually 4.5+ i think) I mainly asked as i saw a amd 4300 (which is close to the Athlons, but on the older am3+ socket) You could check out the 750/760k with a fm2, or fm2+ mobo. Possibly an amd 6300 with a 970 chipset (although be careful some mobo's need looking at for oc'ing, such as a m5a97 r2, or evo) Those would be 4 core and 6 core. For intel it would probably be a pentium, or an i3 (being dual core) with no oc'ing. What kind of games would you be playing?

Hmmm, alot depends on price/budget/availability too. For bf4 (on multiplayer) a 6300 is a great budget chip (about £20 more than the 760k) once oc'ed. The athlon will perform well (for the price) but the 6 (and 8) cores really shine in that game. Although, if you're playing alot of games which use single/dual cores more (such as skyrim/starcraft etc...) the intel will get higher fps, but not as high on bf4 etc... It really depends on budget and what parts are available to you aswell bud

Will the quad core help all round gaming because then I will change to amd and pay the extra R70?

Well, with everyones advice here too what options do you have? Such as what cpu with motherboard? Such as 750k with a a55 mobo, or an i3 with a b85 etc? for price? Googling/youtube/benchmarks etc... can often help seeing what framerates people get in particular games.

I'll pay a big sum of money for a motherboard because i awnt it to be future proof... The motherboard i choose can take i3, i5, i7 and up to 32gb plus i can run sli/crossfire... so if i go with an AMD option. i wont take a cheap motherboard because i don't want to sit with this problem again

Almost any motherboard that takes an Intel Pentium, also takes i7 CPUs. You're never going to need that much RAM before needing an entire system upgrade and why on earth would you want a motherboard that's SLI/CrossfireX capable if your PSU is not, and you're always better off with single card solutions, especially on a budget.

The only thing you'll want to make sure is on there is Sata III in case you want to add an SSD some time. Just get a cheaper 1155 motherboard, with the Ivy Bridge i3 that's on that site (cheaper than Haswell and barely any difference), a decent quality power supply, some cheap case, a big enough HDD, 4GB RAM minimum at 13333/1600MHz and spend the rest on a nice graphics card.
