Nice guitar bro, I'm saving up for a gothic explorer electric but heres my bass:

Went for a 5 string because i love metallica \m/

I didnt go for 5/6 as I don't want to look like a poser, a lot of music I listen too uses 5 string bass with just 0-0-0-0-1-1-0-1-0-1-0-1-1-0-0 lolol. I went for 4 as the bass was lighter, much better built quality than the similar priced 5 stringers and it just felt nicer. I've never played bass and I can just stick some 5 strings on my 4 to get that dirty bottom.

Too true, I really wanted a 6 string at first but thought i would look like a complete prat At first i was gonna get a les paul 4 string, but I got an awesome deal from the guys at purple turtle music and ended up getting a 700 pound guitar for less than half price I never would've been able to afford it otherwise I just learned Anaesthesia (Pulling Teeth) on it, you should check it out, some classic cliff burton right there
