EVOLUTION by PEXON Cable management/ few pics of progress

Spit and polish!

But I'm leaving the paint to dry for a week or two and then using T-Cut and plenty of it, it really helps work out any blemishes in the paint.

Everything looks great .. I cant wait to see the final product .. All the attention to detail is going to make the build spectatular ! also ( lol ) I'll be using your log as reference material when I do my pc- a70f build . I may leave the anodizing on though , That process looked painful .

Trus' me bro, getting anodizing off is a bugger. You can oven bake it to make it go an orangey colour or it would simple enough to simply paint over the top of it. Fingers crossed I'mma get me a 670 soon enough. Then I can concentrate on waterblocks, as that and a single rad is all I need to finish the build! Getting exciting!

You can use certain types of bleach to de-anodize things, just pop the parts in and leave for an hour. They come out a dull grey colour

I had a look at that, but if you didn't keep your eye on it, you can easily destroy a 200 quid computer case.

Been having a play around this afternoon with the MDPC cable clips and nut caps. I like the flowing motion of the sleeved cables, I think when they are all finished, it will look pretty tasty; of course the back of the case matters too!

And here is a few pics of what I've got sorted so far. I'm off to China on sunday so no updates for about 10 days; but fingers crossed when I get back and get paid, I'll be getting the last rad, CPU block and hopefully a new GPU, my 560Ti really needs changing.

As always peeps, thanks for looking and I'll catch up with you in a few weeks!

The 8Pin mobo? Its just a rough idea, the cables aren't taught into the clips, hence some of the wires bowing out.

The is looking brilliant mate, the front panel turned out nice after the little accident

The build is coming along very nicely. Can't wait for more and to see what its like when finished

not sure about the floor rad arrangement, those two stacked fans will just create turbulence
tongue.png
I'd put them on top of the white rad if you are keen on a rad stack

^

i personally would have

rad

fan

rad

fan

that way you still have the rad on top, but to me seems like a better stack, but its up to you

Hi peeps, I'm in China, but the hotel has wifi everywhere, which is pretty cool so I can still check on OC3D!

Not sure on rad placement yet, I think having the fan on the bottom looks odd. I like the way it looks with having the rad at the bottom with the fans pulling. I'm not too fussed about the temps, I'm not going for mad 24/7 overclocks and the new gen GPUs dont make too much heat anyway... I shall be updating when I get back with some photos of my trip, I'll be back a week today. The trip over was awesome, business class is very nice ;D I'm not the best flyer but I felt really comfortable and well looked after we free champagne, wine, beer and food. Anyway, thanks for looking guys as always, see you all soon. Love, PEXON.
