EVGA RMA

As many of you know, I have been having very serious issues with CTDs and BSODs. After months of troubleshooting, reformatting, rebuilding, and crying... I have concluded that my video card is to blame. My GTX 590 has been approved for an RMA and I will be shipping it out soon. However, I have been hearing rumors that the renowned EVGA RMA process isn't all it's made out to be; some people have received defective replacements, others have physical damage.

What I would like to know if if anyone here has dealt with RMAing their video card, specifically an EVGA card, and how was your experience?

I am worried that I will ship out my card (which is aesthetically flawless) and in return receive a scratched or flawed card.

Please ease my woes.

EVGA is top notch bro you shouldnt worry. Now with that said remember this you have a limited production product. so most likely you will receive someone elses rma'd card that they repaired. Unless they had a stock of them laying about.

with evga you really shouldn't worry their rma service is one of the best ones out there, and those people who complained about receiving defective rma's then their problem probably wasnt related to their gpu

Make the delivery guy wait whilst you check the contents,,,, Make him wait for half if you like,, its his duty.. If its damaged then dont accept it..

nope not an option if its dirty or scratched up it wont be the delivery persons fault. The dilevery guy will take t\it back to the dispatch area and it may sit there while they decide what to do or it may end up getting lost. Accept the package but IMMEDIATLY get on the phone with tthe shipper (EVGA) and state what you found. But truthfully I doubt this will happen at all. I have dealt with their RMA process and it was excellent.
