EVGA MOBO's

I've been trying to compare EVGA and Asus MOBO's for a while now but I can't find a whole lot on EVGA MOBO's for some reason. What I mean by that is no benchmarking, no quality comparison, and no indepth reviews in general. Justa surface look. If anyone who owns an EVGA MOBO (other than the SR-2) can post any benchmarks or info of any kind that would be appreciated.

On a side note, lately on New Egg the latest ROG MOBO reviews seem split between "best MOBO ever!" and "the thing crapped out after 2 weeks." Idk what ASUS' quality is like but the universal opinion on New EGgg abput ASUS customer support seems to be that it is about as useful as a rock on the other end of the phone. Could someone who has experiance with ASUS customer support confirm or deny this.

In summary I seem to be leaning away from ASUS in general and seem to be watching EVGA a little more.

I have used many ASUS motherboards and I have never had to deal with Customer Service, they have all been rock solid.

Check the dates on the Newegg reveiws cause ASUS did have a SATA issue with most there boards when Sandy Bridge was released but they had been cleared up with revision 2.

That could very likely be the reason. Still, anyone have experiance with EVGA taht can compare?

My Evga motherboard was the only one that blew caps, allot.

never again stick with Asus.
