EVGA E756 Micro SLI Post Issues

So been working with my roommate on his computer. He's had nothing but issues, he had similar issues with his prior motherboard though I forget the model.

His current model is a EVGA E756 Micro SLI x58 board.

That being said he's running 12 gigs of patriot ddr3. Motherboard only recognizes 4 gigs, in bios and applications.

He contacted EVGA and one of the people there said it was possibly a processor seating issue. So we verified it had no issues, no bent pins, re seated it, and now the computer wont post or boot at all.

We've run memtest on all of the ram and it's passed without issues.

Also attempting to boot the pc with minimal hardware, it will boot into bios with a CMOS wipe but the follow up boot will not occur. Will hang on error 10.

The errors it's giving us are in order from least to greatest (most to least frequent): 10, B8, FF

**UPDATE** We have it booting and posting now, apparently there WAS one bad stick, and memtest wasnt recognizing the other sticks so it wasnt testing them since only 4 gigs was rocognized. Once removing the one bad stick it recognizes 10 gigs, so we figured out the issue and are on the right path.

We are really at a loss, as absolutely nothing seems wrong. Everything is seated correctly, nothing visibly appears to be amiss.
