Right guys, who's up for a little xmas fun benching wise? Idea's 2 fold - firstly to pull back our HWbot rank, and secondly to have some fun with some cheap cards.
Been speaking to Mr Kenny, and scanning over the HWbot results and it seems 6600GT's might be a good place to look.
Cards are cheap, don't have cold bugs and there's plenty of scores on HWbot which means lots of points if you get good results.
Should be able to pick up GT SLI for under 100 quid and benching older cards is ALWAYS great fun (for those that havent tried you NEED to
)
Looking to source some refurbs if possible and have found 4 odd cards up for grabs at ~ 40 quid a pop on another forum if anyones interested.
