Elite: Dangerous Planetary exploration footage

My X-52 is ten years old and apart from a squeak is fine. Not to say they are necessarily the same manufacturing quality now = but google anything these days and you'll get bad reviews :)

yeah very true, it just seemed like the X-55 had more than the normal amount of issues so I started with the T.1600M and have been delighted :) The only problem with getting a separate joystick is that there are very few throttles sold separately which is a shame.

The x55 has serious issues in win10 btw, also it's no where near as comfortable to use as the x52, it looks nicer but all the stick buttons are way to far away to be used properly.

You'll do just fine with keyboard and mouse to begin with :)

Thats a shame. Wonder why that is? I've had one or two detection issues solved by a quick unplug/replug. Nothing serious. Hopefully they sort it soon then.

@PH quite a few have one integrated on the base. I tend to not be that dynamic on the throttles tho so keyboard would still work pretty well. Or voice attack.

Something to do with USB3.0 headers and power delivery I believe. not entirely sure, apparently it won't worth with a native 3.1/3.0 port that doesn't have full legacy 2.0 support or something, there's a big thread about it if you go looking, I don't have the link to hand.

The comfort issues alone are enough to keep me away, I went for a warthog when I was in the market, and am very glad for the purchase, never had a stick like it and it will out live me.

Warthog is beautiful and makes my A10 go brrrrrrrrt. It's on the wishlist but can't fault my 52. Mind you is on a usb 2 port and I have to admit it is on the large side.

So keen for Horizons.

probably, lol my G25 does as well, it seems peripheral makers are a bit.. slow with regards win10 support

Shame really as I was looking to buy the x52 since a button on my thrustmaster hotas as broken, guess I will just have to wait a bit before I commit to it

As above. I have occasional detection issues. Apart from that and a squeak its really good. I have only played ED, with an hour of lock on, IL-2 and rise of flight since win 10 and no other issues.
