20km from azeban. I know because i tried to land without permission. I was right at the gate, figuring out how to get permission and accidentally hit boost. Crashed right through the gate. Had to pay 300cr

I have hit tab many a times waiting outside of Azeban and hit the side of it, what I actually meant to do was press 1 to access my contacts to request docking...

Go through your contacts and look for cities to lock on to. I believe you start near Azeban city.

I know how to dock... its once i left the and hyperdrived somewhere else i could not find a place to land. I really have no idea how to make cr either.. just floating along really

You have to dock to a station and get a mission from the bulletin board. Transport missions are best when you start out. Just choose a star with 1 and hyper drive there.

Bought and lost an eagle (they're shit) I'm about 30 for nothing in my sidey with base gear so I'll keep with that till I get a Cobra.

NOTE if you put 3tonnes of heavier plating on your Sidey, you won't be able to warp ANYWHERE.... (yeah i got stuck somewhere)

Oh thank you for the advice! They just provide me with the matierals and then i transport them?

Also whatever progress i make in single player, does that translate over to multi? Or is it best to just stick multi(still not that good so i'm just wondering).

They provide you with the goods and you have to deliver them. Sometimes you have to fly back to collect your reward. Don't know about SP, but i doubt it translates over. Would mess with the economy.

So far i've barely met anyone in open space. And at the space station nobody dares to make trouble because if you do you will be reduced to ashes within seconds.

Can someone explain all the economy types of different systems? There are so many i am confused. Also explaining what sells high where would help too. I looked on google and could not find much info.

Just go to the cities and see what they need, then try and find it in other cities.
Hint: Looking at the trade routes helps to narrow it down.

I'd imagine prices will fluctuate depending on other players selling commodities, though I don't know if this is in the beta as I haven't paid enough attention to notice.

yeah if trading goes nuts, the market will change. It did in previous betas, they totally flattened the markets with the bloody lakon 9's!!

The key to the trading stuff, is checking the trade routes in the galaxy map, you can see what's being exported to where with a few clicks and narrow your hauls down quite a bit

Hmm ok. I'll try it out. I'm still learning pretty much everything! Just doing transport missions really to earn some CR to actually do things. Good thing fuel is cheap!

edit: How do we move our heads around in the cockpit?

haha yeah am going to, just trying to get all the controls mapped in a way i can remember at the moment. did all but the last 2 or 3 tutorial mission, gussing you're just Sub on Elite?
