Evening all, was wondering if you lot could cast your eye over this board (1 half of a GTX 295) and identify the component with the red ring around it.

I've got it as a 1.2uF Inductor, but as far as I can tell it's in the power path so wondered if anyone recognised it, had used one, knew the rest of the requirements please.

I agree, it looks like a 1.2uH inductor to me and if its in the power path it may be part of a switching regulator?

Are you planning to replace it or something?

This isnt the same one exactly but has the same inductance so the data sheet may help you.

Cheers I think it's classed as a 1.2uH choke. Just have to measure the package size and hope I get the right requirements.
