So about 30 minutes ago I went into panic mode because my CPU core temps at idle were at about 60 degrees a quick prime 95 for about 2 seconds and they were over 100 degrees. So I knew shit was bad.
I played around with the hosing elevating it a bit, checked the pump to make sure it was in the res (in case it moved a bit) by pushing on it and lastly I sort of tilted the case every which way.
Somehow between the combination of those three things I got the pump, pumping again. There were air bubbles in my loop. I'm not experienced enough to know what could have caused this and how to sort of troubleshoot it in the future.
When the pump started pumping again it sounded horrible. I removed the fill port from the res to get the air out and after a few seconds it all was fine again.
Pump is a laing ddc, Alphacool Laing Repack DDC 5.25 Bay Station, alphacool xt45 480mm radiator and Alphacool NexXxoS XP3 waterblock.
