Personally, I play Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle. Same thing there, get ingame currency for $ just to get shafted with the cards you get. It's already been pulled from the Play Store in Belgium.

Main issue here is that EA charge full price for this game year on year and have the rather smug "we know you footie fans will pay out your a*** for dream players" I wouldn't be as mad if they at least sold the game for less or made it F2P.

This is literally no different to any other game. CSGO has always been like that.
The dragonlore AWP is considered the top drop in the game. To buy a case for these is around £40.

All games are the same with loot boxes, they are a cancer on the gaming industry and I hope to hell the gambling authorities ruin the publishers on these.
Even better I wanna see the "have you bought loot boxes? you could be entitled to ££££ in compensation" ads like with PPI!
