Hello!

I would like to overclock my Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4 Ghz to 3,0Ghz. I am newbie so I don't even know how should I start it. I've been readning forums for hours now, and I collected the info you need to help me, atleast I hope so.

My specs:

Mobo: gigabyte ga-945gcm-s2c / http://us.test.giga-byte.com/Suppor...el.aspx?FAQID=5206&ProductID=2668&ClassValue=

CPU: Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E4600 (2M Cache, 2.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) / http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=32242

Memory: 2x1Gb DDR2 Kingston 667Mhz RAM

GPU: Asus EAH4850 512Mb GDDR3

My cooling is fine, CPU temperature not going over 40° during playing games.

Please explain me STEP TO STEP how to overclock my PC to 3,0Ghz.

Thank you.

1.4vcore (loaded not in bios) should be enough, 1.45v if not and your cooling is good.

x9 cpu multi

333 fsb

1:1 ram ratio (x2 in mit)

tbh just read the core2duo guide, its easy t follow.

If your happy then its great

You should be able to change the ratio to get your ram closer to its stock speed.
