DVD drive fan mount

Hi,
I'm rearranging fans a little, and would like to mount a 120mm fan, possibly a 140mm fan in the DVD drive bays of my CM 690.
How am I best to mount this? I cant find any brackets for it online, and I dont like the idea of bodging it with tape.

Anyone aware of any brackets around? Or another way to mount a fan? Cheers

Scythe Kama Bay 5.25″ System Cooler or the Lian-Li BZ-502B

Both are good, I like the Lian-Li one better :)

Yeh but then you see that thing, with the sharkoon you dont seen the fan at all the case looks normal from the front.

If zip ties are used and the blanking plates are put back on it will look like a normal case and be cheaper and its not hard to do. But then again the sharkoon wouldn't be all that expensive so if you have the money the sharkoon is the better choice but if your a scrimper go for the zip ties route. Lian li and scythe wont match your mesh.

coolermaster do a hdd holding unit with a fan on the front. It has a horrible plastic front, but you can take if off and reinstall your stock 5.25 bay covers to hide it.

Pointless if you 5.25'' covers restrict airflow, but since youre asking I gues yours don't ;).

edit: problem is you can see if in the 5.25'' bays and it's the horrible bare ally colour. Fine if you're not fussed on aesthetics I guess..

Either zipties or the lian-li bz502b is the way to go, or just sit the fan on the bottom of your 5.25 bays if your feeling lazy, it wont move unless you move the case or have deltas
