Dust filter material?

I am going to mod my Define R3 front to support two 140mm fans properly (now they are glued with hot glue )
And I am thinking how to filter those intakes I have three ideas:
1. Use two aluminium 140mm filters.
2. Use single foam filter (280mm x 140mm)
3. Use single cloth filter (280mm x 140mm)

Which would be better? I thing foam would be better choice but I doesn't have any experience with aluminium or foam filters.
For me in first place is dust proofnes then ease of clean and finally airflow.

I use Prolimatech Blue Vortex 14 fans and I have cat and two mouse's in my room and PC is siting on the table.

Yeah the price is deffo the down side.

I also like the Silverstone magnetic models, they do a good job and are much cheaper.

They are almost at half price of demciflex.
They look great but what's your opinion on aluminum or foam filters?

I cant give opinion since i never used them myself... So maybe wait for other members who have to give feedback.

Cheers.

You could go for a DIY method and use some tights? :)

I remember people using their girlfriends tights as fan filters ages ago, not really sure on the price of tights tho.

Another DIY method is to use fabric softener sheets, not sure how much they restrict airflow tho

Or a magnetic filter like this silverstone one ( 2x140mm ) £4.78

lol, I used the fabric covers of some old speakers on a system a while ago.

Worked really well actually.

I think think for DIY would be great 3.5mm foam and fabric softener sheets may reduce airflow a lot.
Now magnetic filters looks the better choice.
