My friend has a FX5900, hewants to use dual lcd's. (he doesnt game so dont worry about fps). His card doesn thave dual DVI. Can he use 1 on vga and the other on DVI or does he need a dual dvi card to use both? ive never had this problem so id idnt know the answer, thanks.

He can use 2 monitors not a problem. Just connect one using DVI and the other using D-Sub. If both of his monitors are D-Sub then just get a DVI to D-Sub connector that usually comes with video cards these days and run both of them D-Sub.

yeah ive got spare adapters out the arse. he has dvi and dsub on both monitors though so he should be fine.

I had that card... what everyone said is spot on.. connect one via dvi and other dsub... the card comes with a dvi to dsub connector too..

had it wired to my TFT via dvi and CRT via Dsub
