Drivers forum?

I was thinking that a great forum to have would be a Driver forum so that we can post any new drivers or any driver fixes for glitched out drivers.... Seems like something that we should definately have.

Opinions?

I didn't really think about what drivers, I was just assuming gfx drivers but you'll have to wait for FragTek to answer that.

Personally I would link the drivers to save bandwidth.

Yeah, we have got areas for Nvidia/ATI drivers, but of course we would rather they were linked to than uploaded

I was thinking more along the lines of a "general" drivers forum, which would have LINKS to the drivers, no need for them to be hosted on your server....

But I thought it would be a nice area where if someone was having a compatibility issue with any driver, lets just say an IDE or RAID driver for example, they could come and inquire about how to resolve the issue they are having and possibly have someone link them to a better / updated driver.

Given this isn't going to be the most active forum at :anisx: but I do feel that it's necessary to offer a help desk for anyone having driver troubles. I'm sure I could think of a guide or linkbook to place there as well for obtaining the newest drivers for anything.

I can vouch for his reps (for the most part). I checked the forum this morning, and he'd done about 3-4 guides. One of which was the A64 overclockign guide that i was after which earned him 20 reps

Only rep hiking that's been done here has been by XMS himself which has contributed to about 80% of my reppage I think
