Going to try and RMA it as well, already have the request in.
On another note, Newegg is running a special on HD 5970's, $100 off.... $399 shipped.

Just a response from the eBay seller of the card. He is willing to refund me for the card without giving me any faff.
That's a good thing but it makes me wonder if he knew before hand. He has great feedback so I am guessing not. But between him removing the card, shipping it, and me installing it, something definitely went awry.

I suppose a small, very small, celebration is in order. It's the least expensive part of everything that took a crap, lol.
To make myself feel better I just ordered a Thermalright Silver Arrow for when I get all of my parts back.
I am about to get ahold of Newegg and see if they will let me change my motherboard exchange to a refund and charge me the difference for the Crosshair V Formula.
RMA for my PSU is being handled by OCZ, oh boy, are they any good with support/RMA? They have recently updated the status to "Acknowledged".
Hopefully within 2 full weeks I will be back up and running with any luck. I think I may just try and find yet another HD 4870 to run in CF. I was thinking about upgrading to that 5970 but I really don't have the loot to drop $400 on a video card, even as badass as it is, lol. I don't game on my PC but very infrequently so I think the CF 4870 setup should last me for a few more years (pending finding a card that wont implode my whole system).
Edit: Just found a matching 4870 on eBay that's right down the road from me, within 5 miles, how perfect.

i have had a few of good RMA experiences with OCZ and 0 bad ones rma'd a psu and a two ssd's the guy i did my work experience has told me they are brilliant aswell

Cases are overrated and overpriced. Ventilation on this case is amazing. It lacks any kind of places for cable management which is a minus and it's not very cool looking but otherwise its a nice, large and functional, well built case. I can't really say I'm down to spend $200-300 on a new case.

Still waiting for replacement parts, heck my parts I sent back to Newegg still haven't even got there yet, should arrive tomorrow. I just hope Newegg pulls a quick turn around time for me, I don't want them to sit on the returned parts for another week before shipping out my new goods which will in turn take another whole week to get back to me.
No desktop 'puter is killing me!!! Feels like it's been 3 weeks without it already.
My Silver Arrow showed up yesterday, that thing is a monster!

Newegg RMA's were posted today (CPU and mobo). They said my new CPU should be on it's way in 1-2 days so there's a possibility it could come before the weekend, sweet!
New case, mobo, and vid cards should be here wednesday. RMA for my power supply was processed end of last week and new one shipped out from Cali and should show up on Thursday.
Everything is coming together!
