Im looking to build an entirely new rig. I am planning on getting a i5 3570k and a 7970

I would love to liquid cool it but i don't have a clue what im doing, i literally need everything from including the case.

Could some of you suggest what it is i need to get and do?

thanks
really appreciate the help

Sam

do you have a budget that we can go on? If you want to water cool and don't know what your doing you could get a corsair sealed solution just follow the instructions and you should be fine also watch allot of YouTube videos they are really helpful when doing a first time PC build!

I already have a H80 in my current rig. Not a big fan of it. Thanks TTL. I reckon i could get a 7970 if you think thats better. I was planning on getting the stuff from specialtech since you rave on about it all the time, they have an awful lot of stuff on there and im just stuck for ideas. I have no idea what im doing really, i watched your introductory videos and that was when i decided i should do it. the only thing i have decided on is the colour of the liquid (RED)

Asking for someone to spec you watercooling is a recipe for disaster. You will need to do more research so that you know what you are doing. It is you that will need to install and maintain it.

I am running my first watercooled rig right now (in fact my first custom build) and honestly the actual installation of watercooling is easy, it's just screwing the things into the things and the other things. The planning stage is the important part.

First port of call is the case, choose one that is good for bolt-in watercooling, or suitable for modification, to accommodate the rad space you need.

etc..
