Hey all, just got this Ram for gaming

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL

Please tell me that this ram does not suck.... lol

I got it to go with my

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I72600K

and

MSI P67A-GD65 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

If so, is there any hope for this ram to be overclocked?

You will be running the ram at 1600 AFAIK. Memory overclocking is limited on P67. You don't clock with the bclk anymore, it's all in the multiplier.

G.Skill is decent cheap memory, no complaints.

Might not be correct now or in near future at least with SB P67 UD7 Mobo. See Toms' review on his channel. You can now disable turbo mode and have static overclocks. Not sure about memory OC.though, he didn't go into that yet

That's how it has been all along. You overclock with the multiplier. You don't adjust the bclk like we have been used to with x58/P55.
