Does 8month old coolant decrease cooling ability?

So i finished my loop 8months ago. I DID plan on cleaning/changing coolant every 6 months but it would have been January and it was far too cold here in UK to work outside.

So i decided i'd make it annually instead.
Now cause im a bit of a control freak, i like to know the temp of my system everytime i use it.

Now around week ago when my computer was firstly switched on for the day the idle cpu temp would be 23-28C and gradually increasing to 30-35C throughout the day.
Now these past couple of days, i've noticed that when i first switch my computer on, the initial idle temp is around 32-35C and increasing to 40C max(on idle).

The ambient temp for both instances are around thesame, +/-3.

CPU settings:
OC to 4Ghz@1.061V (maximum volts) - (Adaptive mode is on)


So does anybody have any idea what's going on?
Could old coolant really make a diff?

have you checked ya dust filters? they may be clogged, or maybe the rads themselves could be a bit dusty??

what coolant are ya using and as mentioned have ya dusted it lately??

What's your flow like? There could be a buildup of gunk in your CPU block

I've had the same coolant in a rig for about 5 years before and it made no difference, I'd check clean and clear your fans etc.

Which coolant?
