Divide the cooling sections

I'm getting confused here  :)

Is this the layout you had in mind for the cooling section NoL

- Cooling Forum

-- Air Cooling

-- Water Cooling

-- Phase Change Cooling

-- Tec/Pelt Cooling

-- Ln2/DICE Cooling

And just get rid of the Graphics card cooling & other cooling sections, as they can be covered in the above sections?

Yup exactly XMS.

Eventually maybe a gallery subsection under each so people don't just fill the main ones with pictures. :)

tbh, I think the problem with what you're suggesting is that the sub forums are not going to be used to an extent that makes having them worthwhile.

Imo something like this would be more appropriate untill theres an actual need for having more sub forums.

It's already being used though. That just isn't enough. To push the limits, you need extreme cooling solutions. You can't have one without the other.

No it isn't, I mean remove the sub forums then have the three sections under the cooling forum. Why make it more complicated?

Because there's a large difference between air, water, thermoelectric, phase, dry ice, and ln2.

maybe, but having seperate subforums for a handful of threads is pretty pointless.

Temporarily back on stock heatsink till the asus rma department gets off there hind quarters. Water the rest of the time, pelts half of that water time, and phase and dice when I'm benching or just feal like frosting things.

It's such a wide array that you need to accomodate all of it.

We can't go the route you speak of Phnom, it's just far too basic. We need to have our appropriate sections.

How bout this Jim.

Main Forum = CPU Cooling

Sub Forums = Air, Water, Phase, TEC, LN2/DICE

This would save some of the clutter.
