Hello

1. Anyhow, Installed the h100u today (a new device). idle temps are at their 40c and that's with the Corsair AF120 high performance static pressure. Load speeds reach 85c (overclocked OC running at 4.6ghz @ 1.285v)
What am I doing wrong ? this isn't brain science, why must everything not work properly for me.
I installed the fans to exhaust air from the top of the case so it's pulling air from the case outside.

2. the SP120 High performance edition.
high performance static pressure fans max speed is 2000 RPM instead of the asserted 2300- why is that ?

This is a screenshot of my insides again, I would appreciate it if this post won't be deleted this time and seriously responded to.

Thanks,

Did you mount the cooler with the pre-applied thermal paste on ?

If so you might want to reseat it with something decent like MX-4.

Also the mesh on top of your case looks pretty restrictive...

You can also try running the fans in a push config instead of pulling threw the rad.

Maybe you have a defective unit, did you make sure the pump actually works ?

Edit: If you have mounted it with aftermarket TIM you might have applied not enough or too much
paste.

Edit 2: AF's arent any good used on a restricted envirement like a rad.

Thats not good is it? The temps are similar to mine with a stock intel cooler

Have you tried remounting it? Maybe the thermal paste was bad or something went wrong while installing it?

AF stands for air flow not for static preasure
I asume you are NOT using the stock fans and seriously mounted the AF to the rad which could explain this temps. Mount the stock fans to the rad and see what happens.

This is what i mean:

Sorry. I mounted the
Air Series SP120 PWM High Performance Edition High Static Pressure Fan Twin Pack

on the rad and used the default ones as case fans...

1) I made a mistake i bought the SP120

2) I used the pre-applied grease.

Hello, I just finished building my first water cooling build, I would much appreciated hearing opinions about it.

The overall process wasn't difficult at all, just a little bit of thinking and doing some research, the only problem I had is that I live in Israel and waiting for shipment for each part was a pain in the butt.

Some Info about the parts:
Motherboard - Asus Maximus Formula V
CPU - i7 3770k @4.6Ghz
Memory - Corsair Dominator Platinum 1600Mhz.
Case - Corsair 800D
Graphics - Dual Asus GTX 660 Ti
Storage - 2 TB WD, 1 TB WD, Corsair Force GT 120 GB
PSU - SeaSonic 1000W Platinum

Watercooling parts:
360 Swiftech Rad
240 Swiftech Rad
Bitspower Res
EK Supermacy Nickle Plexi Version
EK Gtx 670 Ti x 2 Full Cover Waterblock
Swiftech MCP-35X

If you want to know all the watercooling parts that I used, please say I will happy to post the rest of them.
and now for the pictures:

Try a remount with fresh paste if you can. You did clean the CPU first...right? Might sound silly but when you're itching to play with your new toy mistakes are easily made.

I bought the static pressure fans by CORSAIR (SP120 high performance) and mounted them on TOP of the radiator so it would PUll out heat from the radiator outside the case.

have the fans blow through the rad not suck through
try that
same direction of air flow but SP are designed for restricted air flow routes like through a rad

I added the stock fans to the bottom of the rad to create a push pull array.. doesn't help one bit. temps are still at their 40th even with side panel open
do you think a thermal paste should be able to assist ?

if you did not clean the old stuff away that will make a problem and the SP need to be pushing air

and the side off wont help it will drop the air preassue

Have you checked to make sure the cooler is making proper contact with your processor? And honestly your idle temps seem okay to me for a H100i the load temps do seem high though.

You can always try the H100 ultimate cooling mod ;)

+1 for this :D

make sure your cooler is making proper contact with your cpu, if not and your support is a bit wobbly use washers on the backplate to make it a stand proud away from the the board a couple of milimetres should do it... Just had to do that to mine...

Whats your CPU ???

hello,

My CPU is a 3770k running at 4.4ghz @ 1.240v.
Well, I've watch a bunch of H100i installation video, and The pump is really tight and it must be pressing the CPU firmly.

Should I just buy a MX4 paste and try to apply it ?
