DFI nF4 Ultra-D boot problem

Recently my comp has taken to not starting up nicely :(

Whenever it is powering on after a software restart, and sometimes when it starts from power off using the power button, the system will hang, usually before getting to the BIOS stage. The monitor comes on (as it goes into a sleep mode when there's no signal input), but the keyboard stays off. I can let it sit there for a number of minutes and never see the POST screen. However, as soon as I press the reset button, it'll start all the way up, no problem.

I have been doing some reformatting/repartitioning lately but that shouldn't have anything to do with it, since it doesn't get to the point where it's reading the hard drives. This leads me to believe it's a BIOS problem :(

I've already flashed the bios to the latest version (11/14/05), and cleared the CMOS once. Any other suggestions will be appreciated :)

Thanks for the replies :) , but for some reason it has stopped now and usual boots just fine, only hangs once in a rare while... I don't recall doing anything special to it since then . Either way, it's fixed, so all is good now...

That's the cold boot problem for ya :) Doesn't happen all the time which is the kicker.
