Called in to see Tom on the way down to Cardiff at the weekend at the Chilled Pc headquarters and amongst other things picked up the Hdd cage for this beastie and thought i'd mount it in a different way !
Watercooling 90% installed, i forgot i needed an Optical drive for the project so its delayed the finished article slightly !

Wow lookin good mate, pretty cool mounting the HDDs vertically, but won't that cause the bearings to wear out quicker on the top, cos the weight of the actual disk is hanging off it, rather than being distributed evenly between all the bearings? I'm not sure if this is right it's probably just a wild speculation on my part lol 
Cheers guys, i have put time into the build for sure (and a bit of dosh lol) but i bought the case allready splashed and powder coated in this case !
The Hard drive is fine mounted like that Kerotan, its not uncommon to see vrtically mounted Hdd's and the centafugal forces involved in spinning at that speed should place an even load on the bearings !
