Dell U2711 weird speckle

Hi to all of you,

I was just wondering if anyone else with the Dell U2711 monitor has the same issue that is shown in the picture ? Or if this is a normal monitor related problem?

Has never been wet that i am aware of, nor has it sustained any trauma.

That my friend is moisture that has become trapped between the screen and the protective film cover over the screen, we had the very same issue with our TV after wiping it down with a screen wipe, it only takes a minute amount of moisture to cause it, do you also notice it move or change shape from day to day?

It seemed a bit bigger yesterday/today compared to before. Just have to accept the fact that i accidently have wiped it with too much moisture. Well welp what to do Thanks for the info!

I've seen it happen from people putting hot drinks too close to their screens, the steam seeps in and gets stuck. Nothing you can do I'm afraid as the panel is a sealed unit and taking it apart wrecks them.
