Ok so my ot paid off about to order my wc stuff but a kwick question. I am looking at 2 kits one from XSPC and the other is an EK kit. The EK kit is more of a put it where ya want it style which I like specially if I go 360 on rad. By this stick it where ya want it I mean the pump and rez mainly. The XSPC kit has the dual bay rez/pump combo and well is designed to go in the 5.25 bays but if I go 360 rad I'll have to place it on the floor of the case. Which isnt a major isue other than looks. I'm sure I can make it look decent. Also the least expensive of the 2 kits

heres the 2 kits please post opinions. And if either is shite in ur opinion please say why.

EK Kit

Ek H30 Supreme HF 360 EN Advanced Liquid Cooling Kit

XSPC Kit

XSPC Rasa 750 RX360 WaterCooling Kit

The EK kit offers better options, have a better pump, but only 47mm thick rad.

The xspc kit has the best rad(62mm),but a week pump. Its more simple to install, but as you say, very limited options for res/pump.

Hmmmm,decisions decisions.

I have installed similar to both setups, and i like the xspc kit,for its simple setup.

Both cpu-blocks are good performers.

For better flow and good install options,i would choose the EK kit.

lol yeah priced it that way as well. going piece mill is like 400$

any thoughts on this block??? reads well and looks da dawgs danglies

100$ ,,,hmmm.Go for the xspc kit.Look at it this way, this kit need a better pump,if you choose to wc gpu later. For 100$ xtra, you can get a very good pump.

The ek rad may not be enough for that, and an xtra rad may be needed.

yeah I think I'll go XSPC can always modify it later. Gpu cooling wont come til either I upgrade to a reference design gpu or they decide to make a block for my 570hd lol Besides frozen cpu is high priced lol plus thier shipping is outrageous 47$ to ship it compared to sidewinders 18$ gonna price out another kit there and see how it comes down. Only thing is they dont carry all the same stuff as FCPU

:bangheadondesk:

ok now that I am back at the helm I will check them out for sure. Looking to get this for a labor day fitting and button up mods to case. Gotta try and get my dremel from ex Thursday when I pick up my brats errr I mean kids Still need to wet sand the clear coat and shine her up as well.

well since I decided to go with a 360 rad the mods arent as impressive as they could of been lol Seeing as the only place for a 360 rad of 60mm thickness is the front of the case instead of the roof (to thick and only 2*120mm fan support) (could mod easily for 3*120mm but again to thick) I will be drive bay less as the 360mm rad at 416mm tall will just give me enough room for my front panel components. Still have the EK kit in the back of my mind cause as ya said its a better pump. Where-as the XSPC kit has the better rad lol. Cant price it out reasonably going piece mill. Sidewinder has better shipping rates than both FCPU and Performance PC. And if I get the main components at Sidewinder they dont have decent tubing (tygone and durlene) or any good rez's in stock. so I'd have to split the order between 2 places. Not a major issue but I'd rather stick to one place. Thought about getting the EK 240 kit which is 244$ and adding a XSPC 360 rad but sidewinder doesnt have them in stock. Hell they dont have alot of EK stuff in stock at all lol. So my head banging continues. Would like to get this ordered tonight so its here by friday monday at latest since mondays a holiday I'm off.

yeah looking at the DDC but I'd have to get a rez as well and that just prices it to far out so for now I'm set on the XSPC kit which I can mod later to what I want. Got a plan in my head where to mount the bay rez/pump at since I wont have 5.25 bays to use lol

oops I meant DCP pump lol

XSPC 750 RX360 kit ordered and on its way will be here friday

Well I sorta like it when it's showing progress...it's when it goes all quiet I get worried!

I've had parcels showing as "at depot" then there's a knock on my door & it's here. I don't tend to rely on tracking information so much now.

Still, must be good to know it's all on it's way right?
