Anybody heard the new Metallica album yet? What do you guys think of it?

I've heard a couple of the tracks off it. It's certainly better than the atrocious crap that was St. Anger, but it wouldn't really set the house on fire all the same...

IMO, Metallica haven't really been the same since the Black Album.

I love it, as said tons better than St. Anger was.

The End Of The Line, Cyanide and All Nightmare Long are my fav tracks.

They definitely were at their peak at the Black Album.

The Day That Never Comes is my fav.

Unforgiven III is awful i reckon, don't really feel it. The album sounds a bit like their early stuff, Justice For All and the like.

My two personal Metallica favourites have always been The Unforgiven and One. Interestingly enough the latter was one of the main reasons I took up the guitar 5 years ago.
