9070XT prices in EU - when are they coming down ?

I understand whole GPU situation, but:

• AMD RX 9xxx was supposed to bring lower prices of dGPUs. Which hasn't materialized yet...
• Markup in EU is totally insane. E800+ for RX9070XT... Yikes. Why is that ? EU has not announced tariff war with china AFAIK...

Are these expected to come down or is this our new reality?
Why buy these things at that price ? I have a feeling that dGPU upgrade on every 1-2 years has became relict of the past for great majority...

Pricing should normalize when more stock becomes available. Right now, only premium models are remaining on store shelves. There will also be retailers and distributors that will take advantage of how in demand these products are.

As Nvidia and AMD ship more GPUs to retailers, pricing will get lower. Once there is steady retail availability, there will be no excuse for higher prices. That said, premium GPU models will always carry premium prices.

There is a lot of pent-up demand ATM. I'm guessing that a lot of people who upgraded their PCs during covid now have an upgrade itch. It's hard to know when supply and demand will normalise. Probably in a few months.

I paid £786.13 which was CCL via Amazon.
I did try to buy a card via OCUK but their stock system is just horrid - So I've paid a premium to actually get an order in.

I'm pretty happy with the price and it's performing wonderful, was alot easier than the last release I participated in (Think it was the 3060TI).
