hi all help me out here I've been running 2 x gtx550ti in sli but one card has died looking at replacing/upgrading not sure if to replace dead gpu or sell the good one and upgrade to a single better one any advice? money is a bit tight and do very little gaming . the single one does most of my work just dont want to be going backwards with this rig

My advice would be to sell this one and get a GTX 650 Ti or 660. Single card card solutions are always better than SLI.

If money is really tight and the 550 Ti does everything you need it to, then tbh I don't really see why you would buy anything at all

7970 is the faster card out of the two, but if you're not putting them under water immediately please don't get any AMD card with a reference cooler as those things are really loud.

If you do editing and such, Nvidia's CUDA might be nice and if you have games that use PhysX it might also be worth considering it, but if you don't have/do either, go with the 7970 imo :)

about £70 for full block I might be ok I got rest of loop and using universals block at moment
