DDR2 - more than 2gb sticks!

Why can't RAM manufacturers make 3 or 4gb sticks of DDR2?? :mad:

I had 4 x 2GB sticks but my mobo doesn't like having 4 sticks in all at once (more-so logistally, not enough room), so I've had to drop back down to 4GB.

I just want an 8GB kit comprised of 2 x 4GB! Grrrr! :nono::nono:

BTW: I realise I don't actually need one, but if I had one then I wouldn't even be thinking of upgrading to i7 :p

Think they artificially keep the prices of these high as they're mainly installed in workstations. i.e. they're businesses - so charge them whatever.

Go on the crucial website, got some real "bargins" on the high density stuff, I think its about £1300 for 16Gb (4x4)

Oops, its 2x8Gb sticks, for £920, winner!
