Okay, thats clear now I apply'd the thermal paste wrong... How do I get the old stuff of and how do I mount the Corsair Hq00i in a CM690 ll for best performance

1. to remove it just use kitchen towel
2. i use noctua nt-h1
3. i would use the dot method

dot method:
1. place a littlebit thermal paste in the middle of your cpu
2. put the heatsink on and tighten it up
3. done

put the h100 in the roof with the fans pulling through the rad and out of the case

Okay, Thanks you all H100i coming in tomorrow together with the new case I feel like a child again....

So, I don't need pure 90% alcohol to clean the cpu? That a relief! I am net good with fluids in a case.....

and does someone have a picture of the h100(i) installed the method mentioned above I can't think how that is at this time realy would like a picture to clear things up in my head...
